The Resilience Fund is investing in nonprofits working on the front lines of disaster response - whether Local Flood Support or COVID-19 - getting emergency assistance, such as financial support, healthcare and childcare, to our community's most vulnerable neighbors as fast as possible.

Sumas/Nooksack

Donation stations are being set up in both Sumas and Everson/Nooksack. The Everson/Nooksack collection station needs the following:

The locations of these stations are:

  • Sumas: Advent Christian Church 125 Front Street, Sumas

  • Everson/Nooksack: the west end of the shopping center, 200 E Main Street, Everson


Ferndale

MIRACLE FOOD NETWORK

The Miracle Food Network is located at 5611 Third Avenue, Ferndale (in Pioneer Center) and will accept food donations, either fresh or shelf stable items, between 10am and 1pm Monday through Friday.

The Ferndale Community Resource Center is coordinating volunteer efforts and donations right here in Ferndale. They will also be coordinating efforts with Samaratan's Purse, a non-profit organization that may be able to assist in the cleanup of structures and spraying for mold.

Whatcom County Flood Victim Giving Tree 2021

Public Group where we can come together to help our community members affected by the flood! Presents already bought are gone, money saved for Christmas now going to emergent needs! With only 5 1/2 weeks until Christmas, we are trying our best to bring some Christmas Spirt to those facing these unimaginable time!

Whatcom county Flood Housing Project

Whatcom County was hit hard with flooding the week of November 15th, 2021. Many community members are coming together to help provide for the individuals who have lost so much due to the floods. This project was created in the effort to help organize those who need and are offering housing. This project is in cooperation with local shelters, churches and community members all working together to compile lists and placements.
